Remnants

Strange clouds on the horizon herald the coming of the swarm. The undulating masses of the hoard cannot be stopped. The world ends in a frenzy of death and miasma of terror, but what will become of the remnants of humanity?

Three thousand, five hundred years ago, symbols were pressed into clay, starting an anthology that, to this day, is still written and discussed by scholars worldwide.

1977, St.Martin’s press released Vietnam veteran Joe Haldeman’s edited collection, Study War No More. Its stories about conflict and the absence of it, the effects it has on people and society, has seen itself published around the world and translated. Great authors such as Ben Bova, Harlan Ellison, Harry Harrison, Isaac Asimov lent their words to the collection.

In 1988, David Drake and Bill Fawcett revealed their edited anthology series called The Fleet. All the stories took place in a universe ravaged by the invasion of the Khalians and which included such Sci-Fi legends as Anne McCaffrey, Poul Anderson, Steve Perry, Margaret Weis, Jody Lynn Nye, just to name a few.

The Bible, Study War No More, and The Fleet are the three anthologies which have undoubtedly left the biggest impact on me, in my life. All of them contained stories that affect me to this day, all of them, motivating me, inspiring me.

I want to do the same. On that note, WELCOME TO MY WORLD, of REMNANTS

In the near future, humankind found itself at war with otherworldly demons hellbent on Mankind’s destruction.

The Monsters Won.
