I’m not known for GETTING out there…
2024, is different.
Due to my family’s health issues, I don’t often sell books face-to-face, but, this has to change if I want my works to be well known.
So, this year, I’m selling at Ottawa Comiccon, 2024
I’m also selling a few books that are near and dear to my heart. My book Brother, Mark Engels, sent a few copies of his Werecat trilogy. For those not in the know, we both signed out similar works to THP years ago, only to find out that we have a lot in common literally, and personally. He’s been an undying support, and I’m only too happy to be spreading the love of Pawly and her family while I’m trying to harp my own books.
I arrived at the EY center early today to perform my recon and to set up.
And immediately ran into some other charming vendors doing the same as me, setting up in advance.
Yeah, I got there early, but hey, it’s mu first big con where I’ll be selling as an author, not just visiting.. All these years I’ve thought about it, but, I’ve finally bit the bullet.
Now, this might sound annoying, but yeah, I scoped out the site, familiarized myself with the exits and washrooms, and then,
I set up.
Tomorrow is the first actual event day. I’ll post how it goes later. Here’s hoping I see some familiar faces, and make some new friends along the way.
